• Execute end-to-end laboratory testing (pre-analytical, analytical, and post-analytical) on a diverse range of samples, including blood, urine, feces, and body fluids, ensuring precise diagnostic results.
• Rigorously verify sample integrity, volume, and test requirements before processing; validate and release clinical results into the laboratory information system.
• Oversee the performance and reliability of analytical machines through regular calibration and Quality Control (QC) testing; perform routine scheduled maintenance and initial troubleshooting to minimize equipment downtime.
• Monitor and log laboratory supplies to prevent wastage; perform frequent audits of reagent expiry dates and storage conditions to ensure only high-quality, viable materials are used in testing.
• Maintain a clean and compliant work environment through disinfection protocols and the proper management and disposal of hazardous chemicals and biohazardous waste.
