I am a dedicated doctor with an MBBS degree, a full medical license in Bangladesh, and five years of medical experience. Previously working as a medical officer in Bangladesh, I developed strong clinical decision-making skills while providing patient care. Having passed USMLE Step 1, I am preparing for Step 2 CK while gaining hands-on experience through volunteering and research in the U.S. My three and a half years of U.S. volunteering experience have contributed to patient care and medical research, enhancing my expertise.
I am actively involved in research, with one paper recently published and another in progress, strengthening my academic contributions. As a volunteer research assistant at Dream USMLE, I have engaged in mentorship and research activities, demonstrating my commitment to medical education. Additionally, I am a peer reviewer for Cureus, where I can use my medical knowledge and research experience to check and judge other papers.
My proposed endeavor focuses on advancing patient care and medical research in the United States by improving patient outcomes through evidence-based medicine, publishing high-impact studies, conducting peer reviews, mentoring researchers, addressing chronic disease management and healthcare accessibility, supporting physician training, improving medical education, and advocating for policies that enhance healthcare delivery and patient safety. This aligns with the national interest of the United States by improving patient care, advancing medical science, and addressing healthcare disparities.
I plan to apply for EB2 NIW in March 2025 to advance my career in the U.S. healthcare system. While maintaining my F1 visa status, I balance my studies, research, and volunteer work. My strong work ethic, adaptability, and ability to collaborate make me a valuable addition to any medical team.
