• Caring for patients from around the world with GI, liver diseases and pre- and post transplant patients. Common diagnoses that are treated on this unit include Crohn's disease, colitis, gastroparesis, gastrointestinal bleeding, pancreatitis, liver failure, complex multi-organ failure, nausea and sepsis.

Northwest HCA Neuro tele PCU, 4:1 ratio

• Telemetry monitoring, EKG reading, laboratory results, medication administration, physical and mental assessment of patient, and patient advocacy. Provided resources for patient care outside of acute hospital settings and ensured safe discharge planning for patients going home or to other facilities for further care. Worked directly with physicians to ensure patients received the proper care while in the acute setting and help their transition out of the hospital at a level 3, 246 bed hospital.

Southeast HCA- 246 bed, level 3 trauma hospital
