Megan D’Andrea

Dedicated and compassionate registered nurse with extensive experience in various nursing specialties, including medical-surgical, telemetry, ER, PCU, and orthopedics. Currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) with a strong passion for community service, equine therapy, and advancing the health of underserved populations. Seeking to apply my diverse skills and experience towards a scholarship opportunity to support my continued education and long-term goal of opening a community clinic and equine therapy program.

• Serve as a nurse at the local homeless shelter, providing essential healthcare services to vulnerable populations in the community.
• Volunteer at local health fairs and emergency response initiative to provide care for underserved populations.
• Engaged in community projects, including equine therapy programs for children and support for the homeless through health services.
• Remain active in the AQHA show community, contributing to events and furthering involvement in the equine industry.

• American Quarter Horse Association (AQHA) Racing Program, 2014, Actively participated in AQHA racing events, promoting and advocating for the advancement of the sport.
• Young Horse Development Program – AQHA 2015 Champion, supported and worked with young horses through AQHA programs, focusing on development and training to promote the Quarter Horse breed.
• American Quarter Horse Youth Association (AQHYA) Horse Shows, Participated in and contributed to AQHYA horse shows, fostering youth involvement in the equine industry.
