  • I started in 1st grade at DEE
  • Worked successfully with 1st grade team
  • At end of year, principal Susie Black, made a request to move 3rd grade
  • Moved to 3rd grade and worked successfully with that team for 2 years
  • Collaborated and used CKLA and Eureka Math to drive instruction
  • The time at DEE, allowed for many relationships that I valued very deeply
  • I made the decision to move to BLE
  • I have spent the last 5 years teaching 5th grade at BLE
  • I have also made great relationships that I value very much at BLE
  • Work closely with the 5th grade team and to collaborate, plan and ensure priority standards are being taught to all students
  • The 5th grade team supports each other and relies on each other to support all students
  • During distance learning, I learned even more creative ways to use technology for teaching and learning and focused on teaching priority standards
  • One strength that I have is that I do not like to take over a situation. I come in and watch my co-workers, find where there is a need and work very hard to fill that need in an unobtrusive way
