- Conducted animal husbandry tasks such as tank maintenance to avoid overgrowth of algae, observation of fish behavior to detect health abnormalities, and pH checks of the water drums before new water can be circulated throughout the racks
- Used a software program Photoshop and tpsDig2 to analyze for color quantification and landmark images of the guppies
- Participated in a research project studying mate choice copying in Trinidadian guppies
- Properly habituated the male guppies in their appropriate experimental tanks, made detailed observations during experimental trials, and presented our findings to our lab group at the end of the semester.

- Worked alongside a Graduate student studying the growth of mangroves in the Apalachicola bay area
- Wrote field notes surveying environmental quality and conditions of mangroves
- Collected leaves and sediment samples of red and black mangroves from several locations to analyze back at the organic laboratory to observe the survival of the red and black mangroves and damage sustained from the previous harsh winter.
