Accomplishments
DNP Curriculum & Design - With the guidance of a mentor during my MSN program, I constructed and built out an entire Doctor of Nursing Practice in Public Health program in accordance with the AACN Competency-Based Education Essentials. The project consisted of 14 courses in which all course and program objectives were re-evaluated and reconstructed to align with a new competency-based education design.
Covid-19 Community Tracing (3/2020 - 6/2020) - Aided Santa Clara County's Public Health Department in tracing potential Covid -19 exposures throughout the county and followed up with patients recently returning from China or high-risk international countries. Interviewed Covid-19 positive cases for location and exposure tracing purposes. Traveled to the homes of "patients under investigation" to swab for Covid-19.
