Megan Gerber

I have been in a classroom since I was 12 with volunteering in kindergarten through 2nd grade classrooms. The summer before my senior year of high school I volunteered at a daycare every weekday and had the opportunity to be in the school age room, 3 year old, prek room and infant room. My junior year I was able to take child development and my senior year I was able to be in the growing our own program where I had a double block early childhood education class as well as got to help in a Headstart prek. classroom and got to help in a 1st grade room as well. January 2021 I started at KinderCare as a TA and loved my experience and coworkers there. I started at another preschool a few months later and after leaving was able to go to the county. I started out as a temporary TA helping in the preschool rooms as well as kindergarten before being able to work as a kindergarten TA for the 2022-2023 school year. For the 2023-2024 school year I have been in a self contained autism classroom. Summer 2022 I worked summer school as a kindergarten assistant as well as summer 2023, both for PWCS.
