I have been able to work the majority of the time in some of the elementary life skills programs supporting students with the greatest needs. I have also supported the resource room and general education students at the elementary, middle, and high school levels.

• Provided consistent reinforcement of classroom expectations to maintain an inclusive and positive learning environment while assisting with behavior modification strategies and conflict resolution techniques.
• Promoted a positive classroom atmosphere by fostering respectful communication among students and staff.
• Monitored student performance and provided feedback to inform instruction and utilized a variety of instructional strategies to meet individual student needs.
• Enhanced student support by providing one-on-one and small group instruction for targeted skill development in reading, writing, math, or other academic areas as needed.
• Supervised students during lunch, recess, and other non-instructional periods, ensuring safety and wellbeing at all times.

I volunteered at many events to support the school. For two years I volunteered to support the Kindergarten Jumpstart program where incoming kindergarteners came and learned about school. They practiced the routines while we were able to take data on their readiness for school.

• Ensured a positive first impression for customers with friendly greetings and prompt assistance.
• Showcased multitasking abilities by simultaneously greeting incoming customers, directing them to appropriate areas and managing a consistent flow of traffic during busy periods.
