Provide inpatient nursing care in a 234-bed hospital as a float RN. Floors to which I cover include medical-surgical, orthopedic, telemetry, cardiac step-down and endoscopy.

• Accurately document all elements of nursing assessment, treatments, medications, discharge instructions and postdischarge care
• Ensure adherence to facility rules and protocols in responding to emergency situations
• Maintain flexibility with new patient assignments and units up to every four hours per shift

Provided short-stay adult care as well as hospice care in a 33 bed skilled-nursing facility. Coordinated treatment with multidisciplinary healthcare team members to attain optimal health and rapid recovery.
