Work History

In-Home Family Babysitter

Self
08.2016 - 12.2024

From 2016 to 2025, I cared for 7 infants, one at a time, starting at 6 to 8 weeks and most I kept till 2 years. I offered families and friends, a one on one environment in my safe loving home where I would baby wear, work on sensory exploration, tummy time, rocking, singing and reading daily. I gave daily strolls outside and we played in sand, water, with ongoing opportunities for movement and learning through play and new experiences with textures and colors. Nature is our greatest connection. Im a firm believer in strengthening babies brain connections, enhancing cognitive and language development and starting early with fine and gross motor skills. Sensory play and exploration is how we homeschooled up to kindergarten with my own twins. Sleep is a big priority too with setting a gentle eat, play, sleep schedule in a safe and healthy environment. Almost every baby was the parents first child so I was their mentor in helping set schedules especially sleep, helping with feeding routines and knowing appropriate activities to help meet milestones. Many times I would help guide them to community resources and healthcare when needed. It has been a most joyful and fulfilling experience.
