This position was a permanent staff position in the GI lab and Bronch lab.
I worked mostly in the bronch lab where I consciously sedated the pts and assisted the doctor with the scoping procedure and any specimen collection. I also monitored the patients vitals and provided education to the pt and or pt caregivers. When working in the GI lab I would prepare or recover pts from egds or colonoscopy procedures. Started iv lines, vitals, assessment, education.

This position is prn. I pick up shifts between travel assignments or as needed.
I’ve worked with the office in Greenville, SC and the office in Winston-Salem, NC. I specifically work with medically fragile children, mostly trach and gtube dependent children. Ive also picked up shifts as a school nurse through this organization.
This was my first job after graduating nursing school. This was a level III Nicu and I provided all the cares appropriate in a level III Nicu. I also worked on the picc team and the delivery team for this unit. I was also a preceptor for new hires and students for this unit.
