02/2023 - Present, Motion Analysis & Athlete Testing, Investigates the acute effects of training for response time and longitudinal effects of quadriceps and hamstrings training on decreasing knee injury risk factors. Incorporation of drills and exercises aimed to improve response time and lower extremity deceleration mechanics. Ultimate goal of the research is to investigate if our selected drills and exercises will optimize joint angles and minimize forces on the knees to decrease the risk for knee injuries such as anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injuries.
