Medical School Applicant
In high school, I was the vice president of the National Science Honors Society, member of the math team, National Honors Society, and the National Society of High School Scholars. I was also team captain on my club swim team and high school varsity swim team for 4 years. I won the varsity swimming award for MVP and the 2018 Female Athlete of the Year for Coral Glades High School. As well, I am a two-time Female Swimmer of the Year for the Coral Springs Swim Club and a five-time club record holder. As well, I have volunteered at the Broward Outreach Center every year from 2012-2018 and got CSSC involved by starting a food drive and inviting the older swimmers to bring the food and volunteer there for the day.
I have been volunteering a few hours a week at the Coral Springs Swim Club since 2019. Even during COVID I was able to volunteer since everything is outside. CSSC has helped make me the person I am today, and this is my way to give back to the community. Swimming has been a part of my life since I was 9 years old, and I am very passionate in helping children learn how to swim and move up to the swim club. Volunteering includes helping at swim meets by timing and by helping during regular practice hours.
