Provided comprehensive care to critically ill patients, including those with complex neurological and medical emergencies, while in the critical care setting. Proficient with ICP and hemodynamic monitoring, as well as EPIC EMR. I provided mentorship to preceptees by demonstrating effective communication strategies with patients, families, and fellow healthcare professionals. I observed the patient assessments conducted by the preceptees, and offered constructive feedback as necessary. Additionally, I instructed preceptees on hospital policies and procedures, along with the professional standards of practice. I offered guidance and support to new nurses throughout their orientation period. I actively listened to inquiries from the preceptees to ensure that I could provide clear explanations or relevant resources.

Provide secure and thorough care to patients in the prehospital environment, encompassing both urgent scene responses and critical care interfacility transfers, conducted via ground ambulance and rotor-wing aircraft. In a ground capacity, delivered advanced life support services to the city of Camden and its neighboring areas as a member of a two-paramedic team.
In the flight role, collaborated with a flight nurse to provide care for critically ill and injured patients.

• Provided advanced life support services to one of the largest and most progressive prehospital emergency medical services systems in the State of New Jersey
• Routinely staffing critical care transport units alongside prehospital registered nurses to facilitate the safe transfer of critical ill and injured patients
• Responsibilities included, but not limited to, cardiac monitoring, invasive line management, ventilator management and titration of multiple infusion medications

• My career began as a patient care technician in the Emergency Department, until I completed my certification as an Emergency medical Technician, moving on to provide prehospital basic life support services to the greater Somerset County region
• Concurrently completing the didactic and clinical coursework to obtain paramedic licensure, I was promoted to the position of paramedic and continued serving the region in a prehospital advanced life support capacity
• Beyond my normal duties I also served as a tactical medical provider for the Somerset County SWAT team and a clinical preceptor for student paramedics
