Volunteer Experience

Alternative Spring Break — CSU, 08/01/15, 04/01/18

I volunteered with many programs through the Alt. Break trips CSU offers. I lead an Alt. Break trip to Kansas City where we volunteered with youth at the Children’s Place and the Ronald McDonald House. I was in charge of budgeting, fundraising and responsible for the participants and their experiences., I have learned a lot through the Alternative Spring Break Trips, more than any class could have given me. I walked away with a passion for social justice and our youth, and an understanding of many problems/systemic issues that still exist today.
