Activities
Some activities I enjoy are volunteering at nursing homes during the holidays, dancing with little kids, reading, relaxing with my family, organizing fundraisers for animals and the less fortunate people in the world. I have volunteered at many places, including at the Carrington Place Of Wytheville nursing home and picking up trash on highways with the local Lions club chapter. As far as leadership goes, a personal example of my leadership would be when I was cheer captain for 3 years during high school and being LEO club president. An example of public leadership would be my term as shift lead at Bojangles’, both experiences taught and gave me insight on how to be a leader in everyday life and not just for a certain activity or organization. Continuing with public leadership examples, my current job as a shift manager of McDonald’s reflects that as well.
