  • I know this is not what you typically see when reading one of these. There is a big gap in my work history and I didn't want that to be seen and shy some away for lack of experience. Being a stay at home mom for 7 years these are all the things I have gained in experience, for the simple fact of I have four boys and my brother was living with me at the time. As of right now ranging from 3-8 and my brother was 15-17. Juggling school, appointments, and soccer, all while my husband worked out of town, being gone for sometimes weeks at a time and only home for 3 days at a time. It took a lot of organization, time management, and skill at being the boss to do it for that long. so I hope that you take the time to read this and the other things I've done and still do to this day.

I am a crafter, when you hear the word crafter or crafting what do you think about? Decorative object? Paper mach? Sewing? The word crafter means a person who's occupation requires skills with the hands. So my crafting ranges from me just building my two youngest boys a cabin, solid wood, bunk bed with a roof. The bottom bunk sits on the floor so that the top bunk sit exactly at 3 foot off the floor. There are walls around the bottom with windows and the front is open. The ladder has only 3 poles and the top bunk has wide Wood railing. It took me 3 weeks too make ( only because I tend start a project and right in the middle of it I find another project that I want to try and do and start it and do the same thing half way through it but go back to my first project to finish it.) I also just made my best friends wedding invitation and envelopes. I (with my husbands help of course) am remodeling my whole home. I make car decals. All my kids birthday decoration. I crocrochet and sew. I've made wreaths and holiday decoration. I make T-shirts as well and do nails. I am a jack of all trades really. Crafting challenges me, I see something I like and I immediately think to my self I bet I can do that. I love it.
