• Successfully ran the YESS peer-to-peer mentoring program to five classes of 20 or more students grades 6th - 8th
• Collaborated with administration and fellow teachers to recruit mentor leaders for my classes, created a strong idea of what YESS brings to their school, and communicated weekly on student progress in their core classes
• Created, taught, and evaluated engaging Social Emotional Learning lessons and activities that encouraged students to believe in themselves, set high achievable goals, and positively impact their futures
• Created a strong sense of community, culture, and trust within each YESS class

I left this teaching position early due to unfortunate events in my personal life. I would love the opportunity to explain further why this was an extremely difficult decision for me.
