  • Worked in both RHAM Middle and High schools.
  • Managed an SLPA
  • Consulted with transition academies for students aged 19-22
  • I worked in a variety of settings within the school. I collaborated with a special education teacher to teach morphology lessons to her class once a week. I went on weekly community trips to grocery stores and restaurants to target communication goals in real life. In addition to "push-in" and traditional therapy settings.
  • I started a speech group this year with students who have highly unintelligible speech. Each session had five activities, where each student got to lead. Not only did the participates' intelligibility improved, but they talked more and more fully participated in classes outside of the speech room.
  • Monitored students' progress and adjusted therapy plans accordingly.
  • Created and implemented IEP goals and objectives to address speech and language issues in collaboration with other teachers and staff.
  • Documented therapy data using a system I devised in Google forms.
