-Support educators in adjusting curriculum and instructional methods, ensuring accessibility for all students.-maintaining and monitoring special education audit files and necessary reports
-schedule and facilitate IEP meetings
-support teaching staff with writing IEP goals and progress monitoring as well as servie as a resource person to provide special education assistance
-communicate and share information with administration and teaching staff to address student needs
-maintain student data necessary for the unit counts
-coordinate the processes for initial evaluations and placements as well as triennial evaluations
-serving as the contact person for parents who have questions about the special education program
-collaborating with IEP team members including but not limited to the speech/language pathologist, Occupational Therapist, and Physical Therapist to ensure students are receiving the supports they require to make meaningful progress
-making sure special education students transferring to and from Clayton Elementary School have the proper records and are placed in the most appropriate setting
-participating in staff development and staff meetings as well as performing duties assigned by my principal or any special services supervisor

-provided instruction and managed the classroom in grades k-4 in various settings (A-C) to meet needs of all students using the state standards to guide
-wrote and implemented IEPs for identified students and collecting/reviewing data ensuring they are making progress
-communicated with parents to provide feedback on academic progress and behavior
-assisted with various programs including Girls on the Run, after school tutoring, music performances, and summer programming
