Summary

My name is Meghan Duffy I have my masters in Forensic social work and experience in working with children and teens, addictions, and mental health.


I Obtained my Bachelor’s in Social work in 2018 from Western Illinois University and completed an internship with Morning star Mission’s women and Family center which provided me a diverse range of experiences from implementing and facilitating group activities and groups to observing and monitoring resident’s progress and providing additional community services

I briefly taught children ages prek and 2 at two different schools. First school and little learners

From here I took time off and received my Masters in Forensic Social work from Aurora University in 2020. I completed an Internship at Above and Beyond Recovery Center in Chicago Illinois where I got a lot of clinical experience along with individual and group therapy. I provided community outreach and resources and assisted participants in their recovery and with behavioral social and emotional needs


Next I worked at Cornerstone 360 we a Behavioral specialist. I assisted residents with daily activities. I also implanted and facilitated 1:1 services , assessments and documentation monitoring progress and behavior


At Easter Seals I worked with patients providing pediatric ABA therapy and behavior modification. I assisted in developing and developed plans and regimens for patients and coordinated with community services and coordinated services along with meeting with family to ensure success.


I moved to Florida where I worked at Lakeland Regional Medical Center on their inpatient psychiatric unit with adult and geriatric patients providing services 1:1 and community referrals and services along with discharge planning and care


I most recently worked at Menta Academy in Plainfield as a clinician and provided clinical and educational services to my caseload and also developed and implemented social and emotional groups and monitored behaviors and progress. I was in charge of the writing of IEPs and behavioral and safety plans and coordinating services with the family and community
