Leadership Roles -

1. PLC Chair Lead:

• Attend monthly PLC Lead Meetings
• Act as liaison between Director of Elementary Instruction and content team
• Ensure meetings have:

-A weekly time (or times) locked into the calendar

-An agenda prepared and shared in advance

-Inclusive facilitation

-Artifacts of what was discussed/decided

-Keep track of instructional pacing and common exams

-Communicate importance of gathering ongoing academic, SEL, and assessment data

-Communicate the scope and sequence, instructional planning expectations

-Assist Director of Elementary Instruction with supporting teachers new to the model

2. Teacher Mentor:

• Mentored a student teacher in my classroom during her practicum teaching experience
• Provided individual support for beginning teacher; the support activities included collaborative curriculum alignment, design, and planning; they also included classroom observations, student assessment, individual instructional conferences, and instructional resource development

3. Founding Member of Explore Santa Fe:

• Spearheading the proposed Explore Santa Fe School which involved community outreach, speaking in front of the Charter School Division and Public Education Commission

Fourth Grade STEM/Humanities Teacher:

• Taught fourth grade math and science to a diverse group of students
• Created engaging standards based math and science “flavors” throughout 4 quarters of the year
• Promoted student choice through offering different types of assessments
• Math Curriculum - Zearn Math
• Science Curriculum - Mystery Science and Generation Genius
• Enhanced student comprehension by utilizing various teaching methods and strategies, catering to diverse learning styles.
