Experienced in both mainstream and special education, I specialize in nurturing children’s growth and well-being. At HASC, a Jewish special needs camp, I provided attentive care to medically fragile and developmentally delayed children. As an assistant teacher, I designed engaging lesson plans for traditional learning and fine motor skill development, along with creative craft projects.
As head of "Chessed", Charitable Acts, at a Jewish summer camp for two years, I promoted inclusivity and kindness through innovative activities and projects. I excel at forming meaningful connections with children and creating supportive environments where every child feels valued.
I am eager to bring my passion for children and my expertise in child development to the role of Child Life Assistant at Joseph M. Sanzari Children’s Hospital. With a solid background in education and healthcare, I am prepared to contribute by creating activity packets, leading craft groups, facilitating bedside play, and supporting events and donations. My goal is to ensure a positive and comforting experience for young patients and their families throughout their hospital stay.
