I am dedicated to supporting emotional, social and academic development of young children. I have been trained in developmental stages and knowledgeable about offering safe, nurturing environments to boost learning. And have a desire to complement education-based strategies with techniques to promote overall health and wellness. Throughout my academic career I have dedicated my time to better understanding myself and the world around me. At the student research center at UCO I presented research to conferences across the country, and worked in the archives to preserve and digitize data that would have been lost to time. I have also dedicated my education to helping other as a teacher and study abroad coordinator. My time as a coordinator was spent coaching students on effective financial, cultural, and linguistic training to prepare them for jumping into new experiences.
I am a history education major who is dedicated to educating children in a brain-based, nurturing, and culturally diverse learning environment. I have been recognized for adapting teaching methods and materials to meet students varying needs and employing a broad range of instructional techniques to retain student interest and maximize learning. Furthermore, I push myself to be an encouraging and motivational professional, committed to maintaining the highest standards of professional integrity and reliability.
