Due to my experience and in-depth knowledge across various engineering disciplines, I was assigned to lead projects and selected to study and improve Ethiopian Airlines' engineering performance. • Assisting with the structural damage assessment and repair tasks for the nose landing gear collapse on Ethiopian Airlines' B787, Tail ET-AOO, and preparing the necessary procedures to return the aircraft to service
• Obtained certification by thoroughly evaluating Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI) STC documents and preparing maintenance procedure task cards for a major modification to convert Ethiopian Airlines' B767-300 passenger aircraft into a freighter.
• Contributed to the structural damage recovery project for Ethiopian Airlines' B777, tail ET-AQL.
• Collaborated with team of "Ethiopian Airlines Core Team" and evaluate the overall Ethiopian MRO working performance, filter-out barriers and major improvement area and propose solutions. Specially develop policies and procedures aimed at improving the performance of the engineering section.
• Utilized Microsoft Excel and Power BI to create inventory tracking spreadsheets for Ethiopian Airlines' Tool Engineering and Planning section
• Secured EASA 145 approval for B777 and A350 aircraft by actively assisting with the preparation of Maintenance Programs and Task cards
• Used Microsoft Excel and Power-Bi to develop inventory tracking spreadsheets for Aircraft tool and material management department
• Led and supervised a team of Tool Engineering and Planning staff members, providing coaching and guidance as the team leader, and provide technical trainings on special maintenance tools and equipments usage and troubleshoot
