Melanie Hubbard

Experienced in providing patient care in various healthcare settings, including prehospital, emergency department, and inpatient environments. Familiar with the unique workflows of each setting, I have served in supervisory roles as an assistant director in prehospital and as a charge nurse in inpatient departments. As a SPOC, I provided support to end users during EPIC upgrades, recognizing the importance of encouragement in facilitating acceptance of change. Through active listening to the needs of my peers and physicians, I identified areas for improvement in EPIC and played a key role in creating and implementing format changes. Notably, I presented a project that successfully converted paper forms into the EHR system, resulting in improved workflow. Additionally, I actively contributed as a member of the Clinical Informatics Committee and the Quality Champions. With self-motivation and quick learning ability, consistently delivering high-quality work even with minimal supervision.
