Successfully obtained mortgage licensing in 48 states in the course of six months. Developed and launched an expansion program that through mergers expanded mortgage bank from a single office in Reno, Nevada to 6 offices from Virginia to Hawaii. Developed and administered sales training program nationally for mortgage agents. Remodeled a 100 year old mansion as the general contractor. The house won the BANN-er project of the year 2005.

Academic Experience

  • Richardson Independent School District August 2021-Present Teacher I provide secondary instruction in Reading and Language. I completed one year teaching English II with a 73% pass rate for students on the End of Course English II STAAR test (58% campus pass rate, 57% state pass rate). Currently, I provide tier 3 level instruction to students in grades 9-12. My students reading levels range from kindergarten to 7th grade.
  • Kokua Education October 2020 – Present Guest Teacher I provide primary instruction in the absence of the full-time teacher. I am currently serving at East Grand Prepatory. I have had the pleasure of substituting for both Enrichment and Art. I have had the freedom to develop lesson plans and offer them to students in K-8. I have offered students, in the art classes, instruction in how artists convey emotion. Using those artistic devices, students then draw a picture of the emotions they have experienced, with the pandemic, protests, wildfires, and murder hornets. I enjoy the cross between social emotional learning and content knowledge.
  • KCPI October 2019 – August 2020 Adjunct Instructor Providing instruction in English to Chinese students obtaining a dual degree in business administration at South China University of Technology, Yunnan University of Finance and Economics and Jimei University. Conducting first person action research for praxis development, I have identified a trend in education that is impacting retention and lifelong learning abilities. In response, developed new style assessments and materials that increased student participation in an environment where participation is typically avoided.
  • Columbia Basin College August 2018-March 2018 Associate Professor of Project Management Provided instruction in project management including introduction to project management, project planning and project management human resources. Created assessments that developed student real world skills and gave students direct experience working with the community to advance their technical knowledge and professional network simultaneously. Acting as program coordinator, wrote and developed assessments for new learning outcomes to address changes to the discipline’s accreditation.
  • City University of Seattle December 2013 – March 2015 Program Director – Integrated Supply Chain Management Wrote 10 new courses in integrated supply chain management and the required new program paperwork. Achieved regional and ACBSP accreditation in 90 days and launched new program in under 6 months. Provided instruction in integrated supply chain management, international logistics, organizational behavior as well as remedial courses in mathematics and English. Provided instruction in dual program supply chain management courses and faculty professional development at Universidad de Puebla in Monterrey, Mexico. Served on the curriculum committee and represented City University of Seattle at Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals and APICS events.
  • Truckee Meadows Community College August 2007-May 2013 Program Coordinator Logistics, Entrepreneurship and International Business Wrote in excess of 35 classes in the disciplines of logistics, entrepreneurship, international business and banking. Wrote and obtained regional accreditation for new degrees in banking, logistics and entrepreneurship. Mentored Enactus competition team for 3 years. Dev eloped and managed business department orientation program. Program launched with 20 students in first year, by year 4 the program over 200 students and was named a college best practice as on time graduation rates doubled in that time.
