Primary weekend Sonographer at 695 bed, level 1 trauma hospital performing general and vascular scans. Pediatric to Geriatric patient age ranges scanning outpatients and inpatients. Scan locations include departmentally transported inpatients, ED and internal medicine patients. Responsible for portable scans within five ICU units.

PRN Sonographer position rotating between eight different outpatient centers. Responsible for general and vascular imaging studies scanning acute care patients as well as scheduled outpatients.

Weekend position working as a staff sonographer. Responsible for inpatient and emergency room patient examinations. Physician assistance in sterile procedure set up and scan guidance.

Position working for a surgeon at his private practice office. Duties included assisting in ELAS vein closure surgeries as well as scanning venous reflux studies.

Responsible for daily scanning as well as supervisory duties to include monthly schedule preparation, supply ordering, scan protocol development and implementation. Liaison between management, staff sonographers, and physicians.

Initial employment as an X-Ray technologist then crossed trained into Ultrasound in August 1997. Accepted full time sonographer position at The Imaging Center August 2000. Maintained PRN employment with Saint Thomas Rutherford Hospital. Returned to full time status in June 2004 and worked as a staff sonographer at their outpatient clinic Murfreesboro Diagnostic Imaging.

Initial employment as a student technologist. Upon completion of Radiology Technology program transitioned to full time staff technologist. Final position help was as an OR X-Ray technologist responsible for intraoperative operation of C-Arm fluoroscope and portable X-Ray equipment.
