Through several years of teaching experience, I have implemented a wide range of strategies to provide engagement within the classroom. I have attended numerous professional learning opportunities that helped to enrich instruction. I have worked collaboratively with colleagues to develop standards based instruction based both on data and research. I have also immersed myself into the coaching world with bouts in cross country and tennis. Also, thanks to the respect and trust of my colleagues, I was selected as the 2020 teacher of the year both school and district level. The positive mindset of professional growth has both assisted and pushed me in the classroom over the years.
