- Assisting patients with spinal injuries, catheter care, bowel care, stoma care, urine care, grooming, personal hygiene, preparing meals and providing emotional support and palliative care
- Checking and recording vital signs (temperature, pulse, blood pressures e.tc) and reporting all changes to the nurse or doctor and patient's family
- Observing, reporting and documentation as well as medicine administration, elderly care and bed making
- Attained an 80% high-level general housekeeping score to maximize hygiene and reduce pathogenic infections
- Mental health challenges, autism, stroke recovery, dementia and Alzheimer's support, learning disabilities and assisted patients with feeding when required
- Helping patients walk with gait belts, walkers and other devices and transfer wheelchair bound patients using safe patient handling devices
- Eating disorders, mobility assistance, detailed records of the patient's care with 100% ease of detail retrieval and filing
- Reading and understanding the care plan, running errands and assist in physical exercises.
