Accomplishments

I started at KHP Services, I believe one of the first HMO's, in 1991 as a 3rd shift computer operator. Over the years the company changed not only the products we provided and supported but also the name and ownership. I worked my way through different areas of the company and eventually to IT supervisor.

As a computer operator I supported running of batch jobs, system support and backups, ID card generation and production, printing of bills, capitation rosters and checks.

I worked as a Business Analyst supporting a 1 million plus member HMO, IBC, supporting the membership, maintaining capitation rate loads, running the monthly provider payments and overseeing the mailing of checks and rosters.

I then transferred to automation using CA WAAE to automate batch jobs and create efficient customer production schedules. I became supervisor of the team and lead many customer upgrades, internal upgrades, customer conversions from our old data center to the new on new hardware, converted our customers from Unix to Linux. I maintained great working relationships not only with our external customers but also with my peers to ensure customer satisfaction.

After 29 years SS&C had a staff reduction and my position was cut.

I am looking to secure a new career not just a job. I have knowledge in many different areas, I can adapt quickly to change and have 5 years of work from home experience.
