• During my time at UVA I started in their Emergency Department where I learned how to treat Level 1 Trauma patients.
• I was introduced to a teaching hospital and had the opportunity to see all the different levels of education come together to teach and provide the best level of patient care.
• While at UVA I also worked in their Outpatient Surgical Center for the last 4 years.
• Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients' conditions.
• Modify patient treatment plans as indicated by patients' responses and conditions.
• Administer local, inhalation, intravenous, or other anesthetics.
• Consult and coordinate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, or evaluate patient care plans.
