  • Oak Island, NC Sea Turtle Protection Program. 2010-2014. Responsible for all care, maintenance and protection toward a Loggerhead Sea turtle nest. Work directly with city/state officials. Two week commitment each summer. Advocate and educate tourists and spectators on the life cycle of the endangered Loggerhead Sea Turtle. Ensure a safe, successful hatching. Excavating after the boil to confirm an accurate account of hatchlings and report to the local and state agencies
