Summary

I am currently working as a travel nurse, needed a change of pace after 25 years in my nursing career. I found when we started implementing CPSI in our hospital about 5-7 years ago that I really enjoyed the clinical informatics. I hold myself to a very high standard of care and completion of my work. I have a wide background, I am willing to discuss in nursing. From working as a director I am also in the loop of what data must be captured in the documentation. My long term goal was to obtain a position with EPIC. A position I would best be suited for. I started traveling to introduce myself to different programs that I liked or didn't like, while looking where changes could be maid. I would be very excited to discuss a position with EPIC. Thank you for taking the time to review my resume.

  • I was on a process improvement team for most of the two years .I had the opportunity to be working there when we went live with EPIC and I was a superuser as well
  • My brain is always working in overtime, looking for a better way to do things. You have such a nice product already but to maintain yourself on the cutting edge I would love to be a part of your team. I have ideas already
  • Traveling nurse has given me a little bit of an edge. I again worked in Sioux Falls, South Dakota at Select Specialty, where they also had EPIC,
  • I also worked with EPIC in Lincoln and in Omaha. In Lemars, we used Clientware and in Onawa we used CPSI. There are benefits to using EPIC and an alternate programs. There are good and bad to take away from each. It's all about listening to our customers and helping them so can meet there needs and at the same time streamline it as much as posslible
  • I have had an opportunity to work with some of your Epic staff and they seem very excited about what they do. If given the opportunity I would work very hard for our customers and for EPIC. I would not disappoint you!
  • I have excellent communication skills, look forward to using them with clients, as well as programmers to help descibe what our customers want to see
  • Educated family members and caregivers on patient care instructions
  • Reported patients' status and delegated nurse assignments to achieve optimal outcomes
  • Leveraged feedback and process improvement opportunities to create safer and healthier environment and increase patient satisfaction
  • Administered medications and treatment to patients and monitored responses while working with healthcare teams to adjust care plans
  • There was a much shorter list of what I didn't do. Otherwise I used the documentation, I helped others use it, I listened to costomers neets. I was very good about looking who this small change might affect
