Accomplishments

I am a lifetime member of Girl Scouts of America and achieved The Gold Award which is the most prestigious award a Girl Scout can accomplish. Annually, the Gold Award is awarded to fewer than 6% of members. Attended horse camp over the summers to educate younger Girl Scouts on proper techniques and safety requirements to help care for horses. In 2007, my troop held classes/workshops for younger troops to help them earn their badges in a fun and educational manner. We raised $75,000 and were able to go to Australia for three weeks to learn about and experience different cultures. In my spare time I volunteered at the Ronald McDonald’s House for Children and Winding River horse camp for young children.
