I have worked at Stotz Equipment for 23 years and for Greenline Equipment before it was purchased by Arizona Machinery. I have seen a lot of changes and growth and have built relationships during all these years with coworkers and customers. I love my job and consider myself very lucky to work where I do. When you work in the same place for this long, it just becomes a part of you. I care very much about the success of our company and our department. I work very hard at my job and take a lot of pride in the work that I do. I also work very hard to help those around me to succeed at their jobs.
I am a mom of five amazing kids who have grown right up! Three of them are out on their own and doing great things with their lives. I have 2 daughters still at home. Brielle is finishing up her Senior year and will head off to college in the fall. Tessa is just finishing up her Freshman year of high school. I became a grandma a month ago and I am loving this new experience!
I currently handle all whole goods invoicing for 3 Utah locations and 3 Idaho locations. I do the JD settlements, take bonuses, and handle invoicing on CDK. I have learned to make quotes and finance through JD Financial. I use these skills to help the salesmen as much as I can so they can stay out on the road selling equipment. I also handle payoffs for trade ins and consignments. I love doing the Ag side the most! I learned how to do Golf and Turf settlements and invoicing, but had to give that up when I took on the Idaho stores. I am heavily involved in the UDOT contract and have done this for many years. I have also worked in Accounting during my years with Stotz doing various jobs. I helped with write downs, year end audit, accounts receivable and account balancing. I once worked with the ag sales managers helping to create reports and other spreadsheets to help analyze performance.
I was the Controller for the 2 locations, Tremonton and Preston. I handled payroll, payroll taxes, accounts receivable and collections, accounts payable, whole goods invoicing, balanced the JD statement, balanced all accounts for month end, and closed the books at the end of each month.
I was an accountant for PDG, the construction division of Flying J. We did all of the job cost accounting and payments for all of the subcontractors on each of the travel plazas that were being built around the country. I made sure we were within budget and that change orders were filled out. I was involved with the project from bidding to the opening of the plaza. I even audited at the job sites to make sure procedures were being followed. I managed a small group of coworkers to ensure that all project managers had the support they needed.
