My goals and objectives are to acquire a job that best fits my skills and that can help me further my knowledge and skills within the company that hires me. I am confident that I will achieve this goal as I have a strong self confidence in myself have good communication skills, a strong work ethic, strong leadership skills, and I am good at handling high pressure situations. I worked with many projects that helped the company create better work processes. Through these projects I was required to investigate the issues with their current processes and use my problem solving skills to to improve them in order for them to run more efficiently. I was also required to use my leadership and communication skills to to coordinate the information that was in need to be shared by my supervisors. I addition, I was frequently tasked with training my coworkers on all and any jobs they needed more knowledge on. I used my leadership skills to help teach new employees the skills they would need to successfully accomplish their daily work. I would frequently volunteer to help with new projects. For most of the projects I was required to be the team leader because I have good communication and organizational skills.
As a quality technician I acquired the knowledge of working with microsoft excel, word programs, and power point. Through this position I acquired the knowledge of how to professionally communicate with suppliers and customers along with my coworkers. In addition, I acquired the skills to possess a strong background in organization time management, handling pressure from customers, and communication skills.
I acquired many skills from this position. I worked as an assembler which entailed putting together aftermarket transmission kits. I advanced myself within the company and expanded my knowledge by obtaining a position within the receiving department. within this department I learned to use Excel which was needed to keep customers orders with on time delivery. In addition, I was exposed to many different people such as suppliers and customers. This helped me develop a strong confidence in myself to become a leader within my team.
