I currently work in a private weight loss practice where most patients are limited by their finances in how much weight they can lose. I prefer to be part of a team that can offer weight loss to a wider variety of patients. As a nurse practitioner with 23 years of experience and as a person who struggled with obesity for several years, I offer knowledge, compassion, and a positive attitude to your practice and your patients. I have lost weight utilizing several different methods and understand the struggles of both weight loss and weight maintenance. I have personal experience with both taking and prescribing a variety of weight loss medications, and fully appreciate that all weight loss methods are tools to be used as part of a comprehensive plan.
