I was the youngest person to be named Science Department Chair at the time and held the position for the last 3 years of my career. During this time I was a cheerleading coach and led various student organizations. I led the first junior high to the international competition for HOSA in the state of Texas and helped develop the program in Texas. I left teaching in 2018 when my husband was killed by a drunk driver to take care of my kids and follow my dreams.
