Through the time period of 4/07 to 3/25, I have worked as a float RN in Labor and Delivery, Nursery, Med Surg that includes tele, ortho, peds, general surgery, ICU, and a short time in ER. I have also worked as a Clinical Coordinator and Nursing Supervisor. I have done so until there was a permanent position in our Labor and Delivery Dept that is now called Women and Newborn Services. I joined WNS 2 years ago. In this department we provide LDRP and Nursery care as well as care for GYN patients. I still float to Med Surg as needed. Please see below for tasks I perform:

  • Educated expectant parents on prenatal care, childbirth options, breastfeeding techniques, and newborn care for informed decision making.
