Specialized Investigation & Assessment: Initiate and assess reports of alleged child abuse, neglect, or human trafficking cases; specifically investigates daycare's, schools, and foster homes to determine the nature and severity of maltreatment in accordance with federal and state guidelines.

Crisis Response: Work in complex, high-pressure situations, often under time constraints, to assess risks and safety quickly

Documentation and communication: Prepare detailed and accurate investigative reports in a timely manner. Communicate and collaborate with community and agency partners to ensure optimal information collected for all investigations. Participate in high risk and foster home consults as they are needed. Present designated cases to MDT. Complete and mail findings letters after the investigation has concluded. Communicate with supervisor regularly on case progress. Utilize current SOP and apply to case assessments and findings.

On-Call Duty: Rotate on-call coverage for 24/7 response to child abuse, neglect

• Advocated for families and children who were struggling with mental and behavioral health issues. Coordinated services for families through working with schools, CPS, health care professionals and community organizations on behalf of the child to ensure their success at home and school. Developed monthly work schedule and completed all duties in a timely manner, under minimal supervision. Accurately documented patient status through monthly summaries and case notes within electronic medical records system, adhering to Medicaid regulations. Formally recognized by supervisor for exceptional work with client families. While working on the CSU I assisted with client admissions and discharges, daily living activities, lead community groups, provided support to clients struggling with mental health issues, documented client’s progress, utilized SCM techniques when needed, dispensed client medications, and communicated with client families and the client’s care team.

• Held multiple positions during my time spent in the service. I started as a truck driver, transferred into the Intelligence field, and finished as a recruiter. Deployed to Bosnia in 2004 as a counter intelligence agent, collected intelligence, met with sources, and compiled information collected into intelligence reports. Developed and implemented short-term and long-term training plans for subordinate soldiers. Deployed to Hurricane Katrina in 2005, and helped serve the impacted communities by providing basic needs to those hardest hit. My military awards include multiple Army Commendation medals, the Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, the Army Achievement Medal, the Army Professional Development Ribbon and other awards.
