Specialized Investigation & Assessment: Initiate and assess reports of alleged child abuse, neglect, or human trafficking cases; specifically investigates daycare's, schools, and foster homes to determine the nature and severity of maltreatment in accordance with federal and state guidelines.
Crisis Response: Work in complex, high-pressure situations, often under time constraints, to assess risks and safety quickly
Documentation and communication: Prepare detailed and accurate investigative reports in a timely manner. Communicate and collaborate with community and agency partners to ensure optimal information collected for all investigations. Participate in high risk and foster home consults as they are needed. Present designated cases to MDT. Complete and mail findings letters after the investigation has concluded. Communicate with supervisor regularly on case progress. Utilize current SOP and apply to case assessments and findings.
On-Call Duty: Rotate on-call coverage for 24/7 response to child abuse, neglect
