My job was to inspect trucks that came in the gate from Gm. After inspection we would movie the truck to a lane for in coming trucks.
We would walk to out going trucks
Drive one to the back of the building. Scan the truck . Print out what we called a travel paper. This paper stays in the truck through every inside process that they go through to get a bed liner. When truck comes back out to the yard . The yard person scans the truck. Signs the traveler paper and parks truck into out going lanes, to be sent back to Gm. Keep traveler paper in stacks. I would scan these trucks traveler's into the computer for each one shipped . Do an end of the day report send to my office and to Gm. These paper would then be turned in to quality control . To be kept for Gm and gfx files.
