Additional Information

I currently help lead a Bible Class at First Baptist Church on Wednesday nights.

I ran a craft station at a community wide Easter Block Party.

I have organized a community outreach event for students to promote reading and build relationships between staff and students. Books and snacks were bought and given to students. We read with students and spent time encouraging them and their families.

I am encouraging my students to become authors by publishing a "Kindness Matters" classroom book.

I support past students and current ones in their extra-curricular activities such as sporting events, theater activities, and band.

I am working on a Bingo for Books night at my school to promote positive family and school relationships and encourage students to read.
