- Managed the operations of a multi-specialty mobile provider group in an all-remote office environment.
- Assisted in the recruitment process, conducted interviews, and onboarded new contractors and providers. Credentialed providers and managed their CAQH profiles.
- Managed daily administrative tasks to ensure smooth operations. Ordered supplies, managed inventory, maintained records and contracts. Created and oversaw financial reports and productivity worksheets, executed bi-weekly payroll.
- Coordinated patient care by establishing strong relationships between our physicians and nurse practitioners and the facility directors, nurses, and social workers.
- Maintained the primary relationship with the billing software company and their revenue management team to ensure timely and optimal collections.
- Led the office team performing registration, scheduling, and billing. Created and managed electronic patient records related to insurance, billing, and accounts receivable.
- Worked closely with providers to enter timely encounter notes, accurately assign ICD-10, CPT and HCPCS codes and place timely orders for patient DME supplies.
- Communicated with insurance companies, vendors and patients via mail, email, and phone calls. Resolved issues including patient inquires, posted patient payments, and responded to insurance company correspondence.
- Initiated prior authorization requests for services and supplies. Appealed denied insurance claims. Participated in Medicare and commercial insurance audits and chart reviews initiated by third party companies.
