• Deliver surgical instruments to the Operating Room's when requested.
• Document discrepancies with surgical instrumentation daily.
• Return unused surgical instrumentation to the Sterile Processing department.
• Routine checks on the Rapiscan machine for instrumentation discarded in the trash. Retrieve if found.
• Pull surgical instrumentation for add-on cases.
• Check emergency carts daily for needed surgical instrumentation.
• Input all information daily into SPM.
• Deliver Mayfield equipment to designated storage area

Assist physicians with pain injection procedures along with Spinal Cord & Headache Trials & Implants. Clean and sterilize instruments & equipment. Perform weekly & monthly cleaning on the autoclave's. Order, check in & put supplies away. Stock the OR's daily. Update the physician preference cards. Set up equipment, instruments and supplies needed for procedures and organize instruments as directed in surgeons’ preference cards. I am also cross-trained as an MA in post-op/recovery when needed.
