Sepsis initiative core measure

Responsible for the sepsis initiative from 02/15 to 06/16., Worked collaboratively with multiple departments to ensure success.  Provided education to all clinical staff at SCH about early identification and treatment of sepsis through the use of the sepsis protocol and EPIC order sets., Developed sepsis ‘pocket cards’ that were distributed to all providers., Increased compliance with the sepsis 6-hour bundle from 28% to 78% in the first year.

Hospital Acquired Conditions

Worked collaboratively with the SCH Quality Team and the ICU Team to effectively reduce the number of HAC’s., Instrumental in the success and financial stability of the HAC reduction program at St. Charles Hospital., Contributed to SCH earning an 'A' for our Leapfrog score.
