• Successfully reinitiate the Healthy Living Department operations for the Alief, Mark A. Chapman, and Monty Ballard Family YMCAs after the COVID shutdown.

CURRENTLY:

• Lead the Katy area Ys Healthy Living Department. About 100 direct employees and the largest department which corresponds to >60% of members utilization.
• Focused on staff hiring and development, I created two levels of leadership to ensure smooth operations and motivated staff. These leaders are ready to take over my responsibilities when I transition to another position.
• Achieve financial effectiveness through (2022) budget building ($540k), payroll (-15%), revenue (+3%) and expenses (-7%) management while committing to the organization's mission.
• Support the Katy Ys leadership team with various initiatives, such as securing renting spaces contracts for the Mark A Chapman YMCA in 2022 and raising funds through Annual Campaign and Turkey Dash.
• Recruited two new Board Members and created successful events to promote the YMCA's mission.
• Create new partnerships with volunteer-based organizations in Katy, and brought YMCA International services to the Katy community.
• Belong to four groups that are working at the national and local level to strategize and implement new ideas to improve staff and member's achiveness, connectiveness and belonging throughout the organization.

• Led a multi-faceted team that produced measurable growth, teamwork, and revenue that contributed to reaching and surpassing the -2500 unit- membership goal in 2019
• Increased member satisfaction and created a more united and positive environment through GX classes, Wellness, and Personal Training
• Improved client retention and reduced costs by organizing the program and adding new formats to the GX schedule
• Created new Small Group Training programs that matched market trends and generated $10,153 in gross revenues and gave staff the opportunity to create their own original programs
• Created three new Specialty Programs, engaging new members and bringing an additional (not budgeted) $10,300 and helped bring Taekwondo back mid-year to the Y, resulting in $13,000 extra for the both Katy Ys.
• Supported four staff to pursue their passion, creating retention and versatility for the organization.

• Established hard-to-get corporate memberships such as Goya and Enterprise, among others.
• Led GX classes, Wellness floor, and assisted the Healthy Living Director with the Group Ex and Wellness department's needs, such as organization, communications, file management, and problem-solving.

• LoBuscamos.com 2006-2011 was a International Brokerage company for anyone wanting to negotiate with Spanish speaking sellers and buyers over property prices and settlement deals. My main clients were from France wanting to buy balsa wood containers from Ecuador.
• (*) Chuck's Shrimp Jan 2010 - April 2010 we had just bought a group of three trucks to sell fresh shrimp from the Gulf of Mexico. However, after 2010 gulf spill, we have to close the business as we were unable to recover from the financial loses.

As an immigrant new to the language and culture, this was the best way for me to produce income to help support my family. Therefore, I developed these business both from ground up, manage all administrative task and lead operations. After losing our shrimp business in 2010, I closed both businesses and decided to pursue fitness while supporting my husband's career a raising children.

• Owned two small business. A clothes for youth retail store and a small bakery and delegated the operations to trusted staff.
• Developed and managed business proposals and contact information for two new small businesses. A College graduation gowns/prom dresses concession business, and a rechargeable cartridges business.
• Increased profitability and revenue by providing innovating ideas such as new products and markets that were not evident to the business owners.

This is the organization my husband was recruited for. He was the head of the organization and so I became his Operation Manager. Culture Shapers Venezuela was a culture space for students in Merida, Venezuela. We worked to bring College students the resources to improve their college experience and potential opportunities such as art contests, art expositions, free internet, and other cultural classes such as dance and theater. During this time, I:

• Directed day-to-day operations.
• Oversaw financial management, budget management, accounting and payroll activities.

In 2005 Culture Shapers USA closet its doors in Venezuela and brought us to the USA.

Due to a job opportunity my husband received at another city, I quit my job. This was my first job experience as an Agricultural Engineer. These were my responsibilities:

• Tracked sales and marketing trends to forecast and measure effectiveness of national meat trading for the National Department of Agriculture.
• Identified potential markets with desired customers and gaps for optimum product demand.
• Collected customer demographics, preferences and buying habits to help marketing teams target strategies.
• Created reports and spreadsheets to portray market insights and future opportunities.
• Developed and used specific methodologies for collecting and analyzing marketing data.
