
Mellisa Free-Stouder holds a doctorate in nursing practice and is certified as a family nurse practitioner and an adult/gerontologic acute care nurse practitioner. She graduated from Oregon Health and Science University with her BSN in 2005 and obtained her MSN in 2019 and her DNP in 2021 from the University of South Alabama. She has 21 years of experience as a nurse and 6 years of experience as a nurse practitioner. Nurse background includes ICU, ED, MS, OB, and Day surgery. She also taught at the OHSU School of Nursing for 10 years which included Pathophysiology and other courses.
