Hardworking and determined first year student at New York University majoring in English and minoring in Law and Society and Spanish. Prior experience with working with children, in a team, and research experience from extracurricular activities.
Volunteered at a local community center which aids struggling communities in D.C with various different programs. I was able to assist with providing families with food, and was required to work with various different volunteers to organize different responsibilities and even help out new volunteers.
Assisted with special events and programs.
Was responsible for group of 25 3-4 year old boy campers with my other counselors. Worked with other counselors to organize educational activities which included swimming, arts and crafts, and even reading.
Managed inventory by keep tracking of inventory records and ensuring medicine was shipped on the correct days. Also developed my costumer service skills by communicating with clients of various different age groups, as well as some clients in Spanish. Additionally learned an extensive amount by working in a team with my colleagues to work effectively and split the work equally.
